In brief, oversowing is the process of introducing new grass into an existing lawn. If nothing is done to the grass population, its composition will change over the years. By oversowing, you can introduce new grass into the lawn, entirely according to your own preferences.
Sports fields and golf courses are heavily walked on and often have machinery driven over them, which compacts the turf. The top layer of a sports field or golf course becomes greasy from fertilisation and clippings, which reduces air permeability and makes the top layer increasingly slick. To remove this slickness, sand spreaders are used. This is done with clean, coarse sand, so that excess water lying on the sand can be quickly drained away. With these machines, you can efficiently carry out all these tasks. Maintaining your turf becomes much easier!
