In the Netherlands, there are over 1.7 million kilometres of cables and pipes buried underground. Annually, more than 45,000 incidents of excavation damage occur during approximately 770,000 excavation activities, resulting in direct costs of around €38 million. This highlights the importance of precise and controlled working practices during excavation projects. At Pols, we address this with modern vacuum excavation technology, which is employed in locations where conventional excavation methods pose an increased risk of damage. Vacuum excavators enable targeted and damage-free working, with minimal disruption to the surrounding area. This not only contributes to safer operations but also to a reduced burden on traffic and the environment.
