The company was founded in 1789 when Robert Ransomes started an iron foundry with just £200. Years later, in 1832, the company built the world's first lawnmower, securing a leading position in turf technology. Since then, Ransomes has proudly produced high-quality turf machinery and serves customers all over the world.
